Rider Profiles
Your riders are the most valuable asset of your enterprise: your company is
serving them. Your staff should be able to quickly see and interpret all
information about your rider (customer). Rider “Profiles” is a collection
of all the demographics/personal data that relates to the rider.
This information may consist of language, mobility, service animal,
transportation notes, emergency contact and more. This information
is vital in providing the best service to your ridership.
Eligibility Management
Managing eligibility is critical to providing the best service. Keeping
accurate eligibility records with regard to start dates, end dates, level of
eligibility and no overlapping eligibility time spans is critical. Also the
appeals management process for any disputes with eligibility denials is important as well.
Output Management
Many documents and letters must be sent out to the riders.
The letters need to be in the language of the rider, or possibly may need
to be in Braille or audio formats. Letters and documents are queued in the
output queue awaiting an operator to print.
Call Center and Ticketing
Your customer service representatives (CSRs) need information at
their fingertips and the ability to find it quickly. Is the rider
calling about a complaint, an incident, a question, a change to their
demographic or many other items? The CSR must be able to quickly search
for a rider, vet the rider, answer any of their questions, open a ticket,
log a note, send a document, or other capability.
Work Queues
Work queues manage the tickets and tasks. Queues can be set
up for department functions or individual knowledge workers. Tickets
can be selected, worked, tasks generated for a ticket, reassigned,
and closed. Management has a simple console interface to see the number
of tickets in a queue, drill into that queue, and take any action
necessary to expedite the ticket.
Risk and Incident Management
Every transit organization needs to manage incidents and accidents.
This module provides total incident management. This module tracks incident
summary data, vehicles involved, people involved, event codes, event claims
against that incident, event litigation, general event activity,
and electronic documents.
Document Management
Documents of ANY file type can be uploaded and categorized
for later retrieval. Documents can be viewed after uploading with a simple click.
Vendor and Provider Integration
Improving your information and process flow between your vendors
and providers is critical to saving time and money while improving
information quality. Our designs include access to the portal so
vendors can review their queues with their tickets (tasks) to be performed.
Other features could be to keep up to date vendor employee data, vehicle data,
driver statements, etc.
Operation Data Integration
Very important operational is required to be made available.
Our module allows users to see trip history, ETA, No Shows, Late
Standing Order cancelations, and Ride Monitoring. The following
image shows the trip history of a rider, plus performance data
for cancellations, no shows, and overall vendor performance.
Reservation System Integration
PDSA has developed technology to export data in the necessary
formats to feed reservations systems. There are many reservations
systems in this industry each with their own unique interfaces (APIs).
Other approaches we have used were direct access to the databases
and access through web services.
Rider “Out Reach”
PDSA’s design includes allowing the rider
him/her self to login into a Rider portal to view information
about them. For example, they may want to review any tickets
they opened with the customer service department, review their profile,
issue new tickets or see their upcoming reservations.
Security and Authorization
The PDSA Application Framework that our modules were developed on includes
over 100 security features to provide you with peace of mind. Our system is
rock solid. In addition to authentication features, we have also included
many authorization features. Please note, authentication means “can I have access to the system”
and authorization means “what can I do or not do once I am in.” Our
authorization capabilities are built around roles and permissions. A
role is a collection of permissions and permissions allow or disallow
a user from a feature.
